Khreleans have always won their wars with non-violent methods, subversion, sabotage, espionage...their stealth technology is unmatched in the known galaxy.
Khrelean stealth suits mask one's body signature from all tracking systems...and that's why the Fed has outlawed them.

Vulcans were pacifist also but that never stopped Spock from blowing the hell out of whichever Romulan or Klingon needed it.

That's why it's called to us Amok Time, however Pon Farr requires a ritual mating with one you were emotionally bonded to or kal-if-fee. The mating is NOT limited to the Pon Farr. How do you think Spock happened Pon Farr would have been impossible with his Earth mother and Vulcan father.
