Sorry I missed last week. It was turkey hunting season and I needed a little break. =)

Most animals on Earth that mate for life will find a new partner if one of the pair dies. But with emerald dragons it's more than just mating. They are hunting partners and truly joined for life. If one dies the other looses the will to fight and will eventually die.

I hope Rowdy didn't get bitten, that doesn't end well.

She probably either got the wind knocked out of her (from the fall impact) or fainted.

BTW: Falling from that height and landing on that rough ground probably left some bruises and nasty road rash. Look at the rocks and gravel under Rowdy.

Of course, we didn't see her hit the ground. It's possible that she landed on her feet in tiger form and transformed back afterward.

Their bite isn't their only weapon. Remember what they did to Liam.

Thought that that was usually because the cobragators tirelessly stalk the victim before they get a chance to get healed, that is not going to be the case this time

One nitpick: I notice a lack of blood on Mitri's blade, after seeing it spurt out of the wound. Had there not been that spurt, it might be plausible that it was wiped clean as she withdrew it.

My blood shaders are one of the things that isn't working with this new program. We're going to have to go blood-free until I can get it fixed. Sorry. :(

Emerald Dragons blood dissolves in seconds, therefore, no blood on the blade.

Problem solved. 😉

It's a well known fact that emerald dragon blood oxidizes quickly in air to a pale green that's almost indistinguishable in sunlight and the reaction occurs instantly on contact with any iron based material such as steel sword blades, both strengthening the internal matrix of the metal and leaving no discernable trace... we got ya covered Dizz ;)

As with lions, cobragators have a baseball-size brain that can only be hit by going through the eye.

I dunno, a lot of lions have fallen to a load of SSG behind the ear...their skulls aren't that thick...now a Grizzly...best not to aim for the head, try a 12ga slug to the shoulders, recommended plan of defence is to break them both then run..fast

Like the man said, sometimes the best defense is a good pair of sneakers.
