Interesting about the touchy-feely thing, especially considering that Signos is all hard metal and such. But I just don't get what Signos is thinking. He seems to be going against Tyranos - or, at least, being derelict in his duties. And for what... To be the benevolent god of the Kurra?

Also, I rather doubt the Vang Gaer's weapons could even hurt Signos' body. What can primitive, medieval forged steel blades do against a robot body like that? Signos could probably take them all on with very little risk to himself.

At one point in the story I suspected that Liam would get Signos as an AI 'partner' similar to Essential/Unity. In that way, Signos could have a continued relationship with Essential through Liam. But that no longer seems likely.

jus so you know,, black powder is to unstable, an flammable to have those candles on the table.. ..yes, hanging from ceiling or on stands 3 meters away... also that keg, would be on the floor.. (not because of weight, but cuz of flash over..)
and , yes i make my own,, and even the professionals are Very leery bout open flame an spark producing devices ...

an unless that cat has a "Phased plasma rifle in 40 watt range.." it is no threat to him...
