Hochi just needs a healthy dose of dry land and he'll feel good as new.

I wonder if our stowaways also hate sailing by now.

They probably got tossed around quite a bit but at least they are dry. The hold on a whisker boat is designed to remain dry while the deck has scuppers on the stern for quick drainage. So the ship can be completely submerged and still stay afloat.

That was quite a bet of luck. If only they could remove all the enemy ships so easily.

It's great when you can inflict or cause (or even just enjoy) environmental damage to enemies! It gives you that warm fuzzy feeling!

I wanted to make a whole reef of rocks but it was such a pain in the ass.

The water and the clouds and the lightning are great! If you ever redo any of these panes, I'd suggest the last one, add some splash where the water meets the hull, maybe some ripples there. Otherwise, good job!

Thanks!
I agree with you about the last panel but by the time I get to the end I'm usually worn out and get a bit lazy. ;)

In the last panel, the distortion of the unmoving ship's reflection in the tiny ripples of the "smooth as glass in the wake of the storm" water almost looks like a photograph, nice work. Can't help but wonder if they're completely becalmed for the moment and something with more oars might be looking for them ;)

I think they're safe for now so it's time to check in on what's going on elsewhere for a bit.
