And it sounds like they may be going on a little adventure together.

A little adventure to Dhar-Seung, maybe? In search of a couple of "pirates", given a life sentence of hard labor by the magistrate? Or, was it Dhar-Varsa that reported pirates? I get all the Dhar-whatevers mixed up.

Either way, the scamps will be sailing in the direction of Durga Seung, ensuring that the Dalai will be drawn into the next battle, no matter their attitude toward King Stollo.

Heh. I Googled stollo, and I think I see the significance of his name. I'll ask about it, once I catch up.

These two are gonna be significant in the ammendment to or repeal of the Hanshoku.

The Dalai are probably gonna come very close to losing their princess, because she's running from a forced hetero marriage. Raodi seems to be interested in girls, with the possible exception of Liam "Catnip" Constatin, of course. She seems to have taken an immediate liking to Mitri.

The Hanshoku seems to be working against its intended purpose, the propogation of the species. If death is the only way out of a marriage, then there are probably a number of deaths that happen for that reason, reducing the gene pool. Also, people stuck in an unwanted marriage are likely to have fewer children.

With all the losses that the Dalai are suffering in this war, genetic diversity is much more important. The females should really conceive each of their children with a different male. Also, adding fresh genes from other races will be important.

Speaking of other races, now that the Dalai are no longer in hiding, there'll be a lot of interaction with other races, and the Hanshoku is bound to clash with those races' practices.

If the Dalai wish to remain monogamous, they could use the "turkey baster method" of artificial insemination. To keep the process interesting, the male's partner could assist with collection, and the sample would be taken to the female's partner, who would assist with the injection. Having a hand in the conception would help the female's partner to accept their relationship as the child's parent.

With Yokai on the throne, there's a good chance that the problems with the Hanshoku could be dealt with, considering the problems she's had with it. (and caused, because of it?)

Mitri, that jumper saw the color of your top, and he thought he had found the biggest female jumper on the planet!
