That pretty much says it all, Carrencia was innocent. Lennare did all the killings.

I posted a new incentive page too.

This is a nice page. This dialog adds depth and I'm glad Mitri had a chance to say these things. The attention to detail is apparent and the way you posed them adds emotion.

However, I was confused by your statement. Specifically, I was confused by: "...Lennare did all the killings."

All of them?

We knew Lennare murdered island inhabitants as we saw/heard as much from Carrencia's flashback/telling of what happened. But this telling includes the Vang Gaer leader shouting to "kill everyone". To me, this suggested that she was ordering a bunch of subordinates around - as in, more than just Lennare and Carrencia. If the group of Vang Gaer who killed everyone on Mitri's island only consisted of three - Lennare, Carrencia and their leader - that's news to me. (Did the Vang Gaer leader not kill anyone herself? Did she fear getting actual innocent blood on her hands?) Though, in hindsight... I can see how it makes sense.

On the other hand: If there had been more than three, they would have been called as witnesses in the kangaroo court "trial" against Carrencia. And if they had participated in the slaughter of civilians, no doubt they would have testified against Carrencia to save their own hide (and, perhaps, because Carrencia killed their leader). At least, that was my line of thinking at the time.

Yes you're correct, Lennare didn't do all of the killing. What I meant was that she killed the ones we focused on, the Vang Gaer commander and Mitri's mother.

It's also important to remember that the only one that testified against them in the trial was Neela, who later became Eloma's wife. So either Lennare remained silent in the trial or gave a conflicting story that wasn't credible, or maybe even cast guilt to Carri.

It's going to get weird when Mitri next sees Eloma and tells her that Neela lied.

Apparently you're not the only one who feels that way, the comic broke 10 on the top web comic list.

I usually end up with a few extra frames that I don't use in the final page. The good ones I use for incentives. =)

I am hoping there will be more dreaming going on in the future. As there aremany interactions between some characters that might not be practicle for the story but occasional dreaming/fantasizing seems very possible.

I especially like Carri here but there are others that fancy Liam but he will eiyher physically be present enough to respond or feels morally objected to respond. And I can imagin Brody having some fans after his brave action.

I think a few dream scenes here and there are okay but I don't want to overdo it.

If they are relevant info to the story then I feel like they are needed, such as how Carri feels about Liam, or Liam's visions.

If anyone noticed, Liam dreams in black and white usually and Carri dreams in full color.

Yeah overdoing it might be bad, bad might be nice for either vote incentive's or a occasinal page or2.
Like you said it can illustrate a person's feelings sometimes better.

I mean it doesn't always need to be a wet dream, in some cases it can also be a nightmare for instance.

But yeah wet dreams are nicer anyway, I mean there is only 1 Liam and he can't possible please all the ladies that want him.. but they can dream can't they :)

A nightmare is a good idea. There's a scene later on where Eloma has guilt about leading her party to Dalai but it might work better as a nightmare.

Do you have a incentive archive somewhere to look at? I just recently read the whole comic and would really like to see past vote incentives as they seem to be (like the actual one) semi-extensions of the story (or just nice to look at) :D

Just an observation but Carri's skin color seems to have shifted in the last 3 panels; going from red to brown.

Yes, Carri's model uses sub surface scattering which reacts different in different types of lighting. The first 3 panels are a radial light from the candle, the next two are from a single direction light from the sun, and the last one is a spotlight without shadows focused on only her face that I used for dramatic effect. If you could see her back in the last frame it would look more reddish from the candle.
